The Gems all doubled in weight from their birth weights. Weights range from
Garnet at 36 oz to Fire Opal at 30 oz. Garnet, Jade and Amethyst are the largest
right now with Onyx and Opal on the other end. All their bellies are nice and
round and all appear quite healthy and robust. They are trying to get up on
their feet, and can really get around now. As of today, day 13, slits have
formed and hopefully eyes will be open by the weekend. Then the real fun begins!
